If you are trying to import videos into the Windows Movie Maker, then here are a few things that you can try:
a) If you are importing videos from your camcorder, then connect the camcorder using the USB Cable and then click on “Capture from video device” on Windows Movie Maker. The Windows Movie Maker will detect the videos on the camcorder and you just have to follow the instructions to import the videos to the Windows Movie Maker
b) If you are importing the videos from the computer itself, then click on “import Video” on the left of Windows movie Maker and then all you have to do is to browse to the location where the videos are stored and then select the videos that you wish to import.
c) If you are trying to import the videos using the Memory card, then click on “import your videos” option on the Windows Movie Maker and then browse to the location on the memory card and select the videos that you wish to import.
d) You can also import the videos by selecting the videos that you wish to add and then dragging them to Windows Movie Maker.
