When exactly do you get the error? Did you make any software/hardware changes to the computer?
Please try these steps to resolve the issue:
a) Boot into safe mode with networking:
• Turn the system on.
• On the OEM logo, keep tapping the F8 key.
• When you get to the Windows Advanced Options Menu, chose Safe Mode with Networking using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Press enter if you are prompted to select the Operating System.
• Login using your user name and password
• Check if you are getting the same error
b) If you are not getting the error, do a clean boot:
• Click on Start
• Click on run
• Type msconfig and hit enter
• On the System Configuration window, click on the startup tab
• Click on disable all at the bottom right
• Now click on the services tab on the top
• Ensure that you have a check mark in the box “Hide All Microsoft Services”.
• Click on disable all at the bottom right
• Save changes and restart the computer
• Check if the issue is resolved
c) Run a full virus scan on the computer
d) Run a sfc scan. Click on Start, click on run, type sfc /scannow and click on ok. You may be prompted to insert the windows disk
e) Do a system restore to the date when everything was working fine.
