If you are unable to update Java by clicking on the notification in the system tray, then you do not have to be worried.
You can check if the version of Java that is installed on the system if the latest or is there an update available to it.

Try to go to this link and check if you have the latest version of java installed.

If you do not have the latest version, you will be prompted to download the latest version of Java. Download and let the installer install it for you.
