Try to uninstall the screen saver in safe mode and see if it helps. Else I would suggest to use any 3rd party uninstaller like Revo Uninstaller and then also use a registry cleaner. I was installing Trend Micro Security when it said it was incompatible with AVG Anti-virus Free. It said that it needed to be uninstalled before the Trend Micro installation could continue. So I uninstalled it from add and remove program and installed trend micro. I restarted my computer and now it’s not booting. All I get is black screen something written. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!

I installed K4 antivirus and post this i ran a disk defrag on my computer. The defrag completed successfully, however, gave me the following message "Some files on this volume could not be defragmented". The report tells me that these files were the K4 files.
