Is there a way to install windows 7 without having the 100mb partition getting created? If not, can I delete it after I install windows? Not that it’s too much space but just curios.

The 100MB partition is created for the Windows 7 Bitlocker feature. If you just delete this partition your system will not boot. It is the active boot partition. Although there are ways to rearrange your partition configuration after the fact, and ways to prevent this partition arrangement from happening to begin with, you should really just leave it alone unless you have a good reason to change it. There is nothing wrong with having this small boot partition, even if you never intend on using bitLocker.
