I had the same problem with windows 7. I fixed it very easily by creating a new windows profile in safe mode. It happens due to some registry changes. Don’t worry we can fix this issue easily. There are two methods of fixing this issue:
Method 1:
• Restart the computer and tap F8 key repeatedly so that you get ‘Windows advanced options’
• Select repair your computer from the list and press enter.
• Select the language as English and click next.
• Now from recovery options select command prompt.
• On opened command prompt type this command “control userpasswords2” without quotes and press enter.
• On opened user accounts box click on add.
• Type the name of your new account and click on next.
• If you want to put password then put password and click on next.
• Select ‘Administrator’ account and click on next and finish.
• Close command prompt and restart the computer normally.
• Select your nest account this time.
• Now you can transfer all files and folder from previous account.
• Click on start – computer – local dick c: - users and open your previous user.
• Copy the files you want to transfer and paste in the new account.
Method 2:
• Restart the computer and tap F8 key repeatedly so that you get ‘Windows advanced options’
• Select safe from the list and press enter.
• Click on administrator account, this account is generally hidden and only visible in safe mode.
• Create a new user account by going to control panel – user accounts – create a new user account.
