Please follow these steps:

1. Click Start , type command in the Start Search box, right-click Command Prompt in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
2. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
3. At the command prompt, type powercfg /hibernate on.

My computer uses Vista and has a 9800 GTX+ graphics card, which is only compatible with DirectX 10. Somehow, I managed to install DirectX 11. This has caused me to have trouble playing certain games. I was wondering if there is someway for me to downgrade from DirectX11 to DirectX10, or another way to solve this problem. I have been running DirectX11 for a while now, so I couldn't do a system restore or anything like that.
