Regards your first issue, please go through the steps in http://www.askiyogi.com/windows/16918.html given at the bottom. This will help you to repair the system. Regards your second query for keyboard, try these:
(a) Reseat the keyboard connection.
(b) Check if any lights are on in the keyboard else try another keyboard.
(c) Look for any pressed key on the keyboard, if there is a depressed key, try to take care of it.
(d) If it is a wireless keyboard, try to use a wired keyboard for this time being.
Regards Repair, follow these steps:
Step 1: Insert the Windows 7 DVD into the computer. Restart the computer.
Step 2: Press any key when prompted to boot from DVD.
Step 3: Select your language, keyboard and currency from the drop-down menus.
Step 4: Click “Repair your computer,” select the drive containing Windows, and click “Next” to perform a startup repair.
