When I started my Windows XP-based computer after using system restore, error Invalid Floating Point Operation was displayed. Help.

This could be due to many reasons. Try to boot to safe mode and see if the error comes. If not there may be some software running in the background that may be causing this. Try to use the start>Run>msconfig hit enter …go to the startup tab and minimize checkmarks next to the programs that you want to startup with windows. Also update your antivirus software and run a complete scan of your system. Update all device drivers to current.
