I purchased a new laptop with the Windows 7 operating system. There are several programs that came pre-installed. How can I remove programs that I do not need from automatically loading at start up?

You can use the inbuilt “msconfig” utility to do this. Please click start and type msconfig in the search box and hit enter. In the box that comes up, click the startup tab and here you can uncheck any program that you want not to start with Windows. Click ok, save and restart the computer. You are done.
