I had allocated 20GB space to the C: partition on my computer that has Windows XP. Now only 4GB is available. How can I free up space on the partition without deleting important programs?

There are many ways you can try to free some space:
(a) Delete Temp files. Use disk cleanup wizard.
(b) Delete old backup copies.
(c) Delete Duplicate files and folders.
(d) Identify programs that you don’t use any more, uninstall them.
(e) Delete any installation files and update file that are old and you will not use them, specially check the download folder.
