Are you getting any error message while adding gadgets, what steps you have taken to add gadgets? Before a gadget can be added to Sidebar, it must be installed on your computer. Normally At the top of Sidebar, click the plus sign (+) to open the Gadget Gallery. Double-click a gadget to add it to Sidebar. Also make sure UAC is turned ON.

I was installing Trend Micro Security when it said it was incompatible with AVG Anti-virus Free. It said that it needed to be uninstalled before the Trend Micro installation could continue. So I uninstalled it from add and remove program and installed trend micro. I restarted my computer and now it’s not booting. All I get is black screen something written. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!

When I shut it down, it appears to shut down properly, but a few seconds after it shuts down, it restarts itself. In addition, if I put it to sleep it appears to go to sleep properly, but when I return to the computer, the fans will be running on high/max speed and I will have to hold the power button down to get this to stop.
