I had encountered a similar issue and what I did was reinstalled the Microsoft Security Essentials software and the error stopped bothering me. I would advise the same to you as an initial step. Uninstall the MSE and download the version from http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/security_essentials/default.aspx and install it as an administrator.

Today morning when I started my computer I got blue screen mentioned some codes like 0X00…. I tried to repair the computer by “Repair your computer” option but nothing happened. I am very worried about my files and pictures. Is there any way to save them because I have my dead grandpa pics in there and I don’t want to lose them. when i select sort by name then all folders are shown first and files later. is differentiating files and folder, I dont want like that. i jus want to combine file and folder and show as by name irrespective of file or folder, it's windows 7.
