I changed the look of the task bar and the edges around windows opened. It started out like a translucent see-through, but know its blue So how do i make it see-through again

You will have to enable the Aero Glass effect, if the Aero theme is already enabled as you said it was working earlier, you will need to troubleshoot it. To open the Aero troubleshooter:

1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the search box, type Troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting.
3. Under Appearance and Personalization, click Display Aero desktop effects. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
