Sometimes when I’m doing various things, including but not limited to fullscreen things, my escape key and windows logo key stop working, as in nothing happens when i press them. In fullscreen things sometimes the only option is to press ctrl alt delete just to tab out of the application. Other things are affected sometimes too, i think backspacing is slower during these weird episodes too.

You have not mentioned which version of OS you are using and since when did you start observing this behavior? Please try these steps:

(a) Boot the computer to safe mode and check in full screen mode again.
(b) Update the display adapter drivers from the manufacturer website.
(c) Run a Windows update.
(d) Login with another profile and see if the same thing happens in other one as well.
(e) Scan your system with updated security software.
(f) Boot to BIOS and reset it to default.
