I just finished editing my movie in Windows Movie Maker. I now click “Save movie” and the movie starts processing until 20 %, and my computer shuts down and restarts. My computer says that it found a “fatal problem, and is now restarting”. I can’t save my movie! PLEASE HELP!

Please try the following steps:

(a) Run a Windows update.
(b) Disconnect and external peripheral, specially storage,\.
(c) Look in device manager for any conflicts, if there are nay, remove them.
(d) Update the audio and video drivers.
(e) Uninstall any codecs installed and then download them again and install the codecs.
(f) Uninstall any 3rd party video editing software.
