Hello. I’m khimme11. I’m using an ESET NOD32 Antivirus for my laptop. The problem is i don’t know if it has virus because it’s hanging up.. But earlier it’s ok.. I think the cause of this is the plugged usb. so how can I delete that virus If I don’t know where is it located .. tnx

Hello Khimme, you don’t need to worry, if there is a malware in your system, it needs to be deleted. You have an antivirus installed in your system, please update it first and then do the following:

(a) Right click into the NOD32 icon found on the lower right of the screen near the system clock.
(b) Choose Open window > Select Computer Scan > Then Hit Standard Scan
(c) Wait for the Scan to finish.
(d) Once finished, it will give you a list of infections found, delete them.

Windows XP won't let me access the internet anymore as it believes my computer is infected. I run my McAfee virus scan and it detects nothing. Only one of the user accounts on my computer is affected. The pop-up windows want me to "register" XP Security but I am reluctant to do so. It does a "scan" and shows me 27 viruses. None of these are found when I run the McAfee scan. Any thoughts?

I use Windows 7, a few weeks ago while I was using the Internet my window closed and I was informed by Win7 that I had a virus and I had to purchase Win7antispyware to get rid of it, at the time I didn't realise this was a fake program, I downloaded it and nothing changed at all, I then purchased McAfee security which took away all the bad stuff I'd paid for in Win7... but now all of my desktop icons have disappeared and can't even be found on the start menu. My background pic has vanished. I am getting message that my hard drive is failing although MacAfee is saying system is secure.

Hi, I downloaded Iwin games onto my computer and luckily I had AVG free which caught the virus before it infected my whole computer. However after I caught the virus I couldn't go on to the internet. I could only use it if I ran as an administrator. I had this problem before and I went on every possible website to find a solution, but nothing worked. My friend suggested I just restore my whole computer. When the second time came around I just restored my computer.Are there other possible options I could have done? Thanks.
