whenever i go to google and type in what i wanna search or go to…. it then automatically brings me to another random site. when i click on the any link for example, profile layouts or halo it always takes me to another random website?why is it doing that?

Since after you click on a link, it takes you to a preset site, it seems your browser has been hijacked by a malaware/rogue software. It needs to be removed. Please download Malawarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and install it in your system. Run a full scan of the system. Delete any infections it finds. The above link needs to be copy pasted or typed instead of clicking on it.

Use the computer but don't know much about it. For a few days now when on if I leave the computer and return to it I cannot get back on the internet.
