How to completely remove Norton Internet Security? I got fed up with Norton Internet Securities so I uninstalled it from my computer. Now, my computer still says it is running a NIS firewall. I’ve searched everywhere on my computer for traces of NIS and haven’t found anything. How can I disable the firewall now?

1.Download the Norton Removal Tool from ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
Save the file to the Windows desktop.
2.On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon.
3.Follow the on-screen instructions.
4.Restart your computer.

I uninstalled AVG and noticed that some AVG10 services are still running. They won’t stop or get deleted. I suppose you should be able to delete a program’s services after uninstalling the program. The services are: avgchsvx.exe, AVGIDSAgent.exe and avgwdssvc.exe.Thanks in advance.

Does Norton Internet Security and CA anti-spyware r8.1 conflict with each other? I have Norton Internet Security 2008 and CA anti-spyware r8.1. I noticed that Norton Internet Security also has an anti-spyware program yet CA finds spyware that I don't see on Norton. Should I get rid of one and rely on the other? Also, my computer has become slow now. I heard conflicting anti-virus programs can be the cause.
