To enable the firewall in CA 2007 we need to follow these steps.

a) Open CA Internet Security Suite by left-clicking the CA shield icon in the system tray and click on “Open Advanced Settings“ under CA Personal Firewall.
b) Select the “Firewall” option in the left pane and click on “Expert Rules”. Click “Add” to specify a rule.
c) Specify the Rule Description and also select a protocol and click on “Edit” to specify the port.
d) You can specify to open a single port or given range depending on your application and click OK.
