How can a file be deleted?
A program associated with the file in Microsoft Windows is being run and I wish to delete other unnecessary program associated with the same file but unable to do it.

If you are unable to delete a file, use unlocker to do it.
You can download unlocker from here.
http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html
Once you have installed it, right click on the file that you wish to delete, select unlocker, select delete from the drop down and click on ok.

Try the following steps: 1) Close all programs and TSRs running on the computer. 2) If you encounter the same problem even after closing all programs and TSRs running on the computer, you can delete the program in safe mode.
