To resolve your issue, please try the following steps:

1. Open Excel 2010.
2. Click on File > Options.
3. Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.
4. Select Protected view.
5. Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.
6. Restart Excel 2010 and try to open Excel documents.

The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 12.0.7600.16415 where 12.0.7600.16385 was expected. It also says windows media player is not installed properly and must be re-installed, do you want to install the player from the Microsoft Website? I have tried your recommendations using UNREGMP2.EXE etc and it doesnt work. This is on windows 7.
