I have Microsoft Project 2007 which crashes repeatedly. The operating system is Windows 7. There is no error message coming. Can someone help me diagnose this?

Please try these steps to diagnose and fix the issue
a) Open Project 2007 without add-ins and check if the issue still occurs. To open it without add-ins, please click on start >> run >> use the /a switch after the name of the application. For eg, winword /a or excel /a and click on Ok
b) Disable the file scanning option in the security software that is installed on the computer
c) Try in safe mode. To go to safe mode:
• Turn the computer on
• Keep tapping the F8 key when you see the OEM Logo.
• If you get the Windows Advanced Options Menu, select Safe Mode with Networking using the arrow keys on the keyboard.
• Press enter if you are prompted to select the Operating System.
• Login with your name to the Safe Mode
• Check if the computer is still freezing
d) If the issue does not re-occur, then we will do a clean boot.
• Click on start
• Click on Run
• Type msconfig and hit enter
• On the System Configuration window, click on the startup tab
• Click on disable all at the bottom right
• Now click on the services tab on the top
• Ensure that you have a check mark in the box “Hide All Microsoft Services”.
• Click on disable all at the bottom right
• Save changes and restart the computer in the normal mode
• Check if the issue is resolved
