I have uninstalled Norton AntiVirus that was there on my laptop. I also want to delete the associated registry entries for the software. How to go about this?

You can use the Norton uninstaller from http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN&ln=en_US to uninstall it properly. Then use a registry cleaner to delete any Norton entries found. Of the many registry cleaners, you can use Ccleaner available online.
