The trial version Norton AntiVirus on my computer has expired. So I tried to install Kaspersky on the system. During installation an error comes up. It states that an antivirus is installed and the installation aborts. Can you advise what should be done to install Kaspersky?

You will have to uninstall the Norton product first before installing Kaspersky. Please download the Norton removal tool from http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN&ln=en_US and then use it to completely uninstall Norton and then restart the system. Now try to install the Kaspersky software.
