I can play the music from my laptop when I put it on my iPod. Same goes with the videos so it can’t the the files itself. None of my media players aren’t working. Not even VLC which plays everything. What can I do to solve this problem?

The question is not very clear. Are you getting any error message when you are trying to play media files? Try the following steps:

(a) Update the media player version.
(b) Download and install codecs.
(c) Update the audio and the vide drivers.
