My Windows media player cant play any videos/ movies. When I try playing a video/movie it just gives me the still image of the starting part but the audio continues to play. How do I fix this?

You have to make sure you have the latest video drivers and the codecs. Any format not recognized by media player will not be played in proper manner. There are many free codecs available online, you can download anyone of them and install it.
