I am having a problem with a laptops touch pad. At least I assume that it is the touch pad. For some reason you will be typing something in a search bar or address bar, or even in a text document and the cursor will suddenly jump to another place on the page. For instance I have a search bar for google next to my address bar on firefox and I will start typing and the first half of what I type shows up in the google search bar and then suddenly for no reason it will jump to the address bar and finish whatever i am typing in the address bar. I am 99% sure that I do not touch the touch pad while typing. I have even go into the touch pad settings and messed with every setting I could think of that would possibly conflict such as sensitivity and scrolling. Any help would be appreciated. I am a mid to high end user and I am baffled by this problem, i have never encountered it before. I haven't done a driver reinstall yet, however I did have to use the system disc to do a clean install of windows and that did not fix the problem so I dont see how a driver reinstall would.?
