My computer was infected with a virus and i read on the internet that formatting the drives reinstalling windows would get rid of it. Since i wasnt given the installation cd and there is no file on my computer for reinstalling windows, i bought a new windows xp cd. i was wondering if reinstalling windows using a different cd from the original would work since the product keys would be different and i dont have the original product key.?
