My problem is that occasionally, my laptop’s touchpad won’t work on startup. It seems to happen every other time it is started. I can plug a USB mouse at any time and it will work just fine.If I look into the device manager when the touchpad is unresponsive, it will say that the PS/2 mouse failed to start.I've updated it to the most recent driver as found here:http://www.synaptics.com/support/driversBut this problem still persists. Any ideas how I can figure out what's wrong??
