I have an Ipad. I want to be able to read the e-version of a 900 page textbook. I went to click on it on the ipad and a message informing me that ipad does NOT support the adobe flash player I need. No surprise. I called Apple support to ask what aps they have whether free or for fee I could use in place or equivalent of adobe flash player. Sheri, Apple online assistant proceed to sell me their $79.99 online tech support. WTH???

iOS actually does not support Adobe Flash player yet, causing online content that requires it to not work. An alternative way to view such content without jailbreaking your iPad is to download the iSwifter web browser. It does come with a fee but is compatible with the OS you have and lets you view web pages that require you to install Flash.

Hope that helped.
