I have a dell inspiron 1545. with a 250gb hard drive and need help with getting the HDD storage down. there is nothing on this computer other then a a music library of 20gb, and then a few programs but my HDD says there only 80gb free and there nothing on the computer need help with making the drive storage larger.

If close to 170 GB is occupied on your hard drive, try to check the respective size of the folders in the primary partition to figure out which folders occupy the most amount of space.

You can follow the steps given on http://www.askiyogi.com/laptop-2/category/pc-laptops/23258.html to free up some space.

Besides, run the Disk Cleanup, the Disk Defragmenter and perform a full scan in Safe Mode using a reliable anti-virus.

My Toshiba laptop broke, I removed the hard drive and have it in an external box.It has windows vista 32 bit, I really need all the information on this old hard drive. I have a laptop that i received from the family of a friend who recently passed away. It is fairly new and has password protection on it and I dont know the password. Also, there is no option to boot from the dvd drive in the bios, so I cant just wipe the hd with a new copy of windows. I can set it to boot from usb. any ideas on how I can get into this machine or, barring that, load new software onto it?

I have a iPad1 and have downloaded a couple of audiobooks from the local library. I am unable to find them on my iPad now that they have been transferred from my computer to my iPad1. I do not have a policy with Apple as the iPad is too old, This is not a real tech. issue, all I need to know is where to find the audiobooks since they did not go to my "Books" app.

I just got a new HP Pavilion G Series laptop. Everything is working great except for one thing. There is this one website that I cannot login to. When I put my login and password info into the correct fields and click login, it just clears the info and stays on the same page. I can login from other computers though. Please help!
