You are seeing this error message because the picture you are trying to use as your profile picture doesn’t meet Facebooks size requirement of being at least 180 pixels wide. Try uploading an unedited version of the original photo. If the photo still doesn’t meet the size requirement, you will have to pick a larger image to use as your profile picture.
