In order to view your full Facebook chat history, open up a chat box with the person in your friends list that you were chatting with. With some softwares like Scrapboy, you are able to open up a chat box with a person even if they are offline. Then scroll to the top of the chat and click "More..." in the top left hand corner. This will bring up your full chat history with this person. Its also advisable to install some software to have the full chat history. For eg. You can install an add-on in the Firefox browser to download full chat history.

I am unable to install IE9 ,at point of installation it says installing necessary updates and proceeds to do so. Then it reports failed to install ....
