Using Google Chrome I downloaded a file, but now I can't find where the file was saved. I was in a hurry and clicked Ok on being prompted for the file location…so I don't remember the location for saving the file.

If you didn't change your default download location, then Google Chrome downloads files to the following locations:
• Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\
• Windows Vista: \Users\
• Mac: /Users/
• Linux: home\
If you had changed it, please see the location at:
• Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
• Select Options (Preferences on a Mac).
• Click the Under the Hood tab and scroll down to the "Downloads" section.
