Hi! I use Mozilla Firefox 4 as the web browser on my Windows 7-based laptop. On opening some e-mails with images, there is an error message “The image cannot be displayed because it contains errors”. Please suggest a solution for this error.

If you are using Skype as a program in your system, its extension may be causing this issue so try to update it as per information given in the link http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/The%20image%20cannot%20be%20displayed%20because%20it%20contains%20errors . If you don’t have Skype, try to open Firefox in safe mode and then see if the issue occurs, if not, you will have to identify the extension causing this issue and disable it.
