If you are unable to watch YouTube after the upgrade, are you getting any error message? What happens when you play a video? Where did you update the flash player from? Was it through this link http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html ? Normally a genuine flash update will not cause any issues. Please try the following:

(a) Upgrade the browser that you are using.
(b) Update the JAVA.
(c) Uninstall the flash player and then reinstall a fresh copy by downloading it from the above link.
