The default location is c:\Users\ USERPROFILE\Favorites

Everytime I start IE8 I get this error "Internet Explorer – Search Provider Default, A program on your computer has corrupted your default search provider settings for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has reset this setting to your original search provider, Live Search, (search.live.com) Internet Explorer will now open search settings, where you can change this setting or install more search providers. OK" When I click on ok a new box comes up manager addons. what is this can you help me plz?

The explorer closes while opening a docx file attachment from Email. How do I solve it ? It reads, "Internet explorer has stopped working.....A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The files open on other computers just fine.

I have an emachines e525 laptop running vista. I tried to create a couple of web shortcuts on the desktop which got created fine.. except for 1 little thing. When i tried to open it, I get a popup erro that says "Windows cannont find 'https://login.yahoo.com'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."But it still opens a firefox window with yahoo. So the shortcut is working. But why do I get the same error message every time???The only time i do not get it is if there is a window already open, but then i do not really need to use the shortcut. Its irritating!!Any ideas??
