Some websites require ActiveX controls to be there. These websites do not show properly on Internet Explorer 8 which I am using on my computer. How can I install ActiveX controls for these websites?

Some websites require you to install ActiveX controls to see the site or perform certain tasks on it. When you visit such a site, Windows Internet Explorer asks if you want to install the ActiveX control. Please check the security settings first:

• Open the Tools menu
• Click Internet Options
• Click the Security tab
• The Internet zone will be selected by default
• Choose one of the following paths:
o Use your mouse to move the slider bar up and down to change your security level
o Click and select each security setting individually
• Click Ok
If all is ok, you will get an information bar vregards installing the ActiveX for a particular website.
