I wanted to install an add-on that was not working with the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. So I installed an earlier version of Firefox. Now on using the new version of Firefox, I found that my usernames and passwords for logging, which I had saved, were missing. Please assist me to get back the login passwords.

First check if the password save option is enabled.

• At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.
• Select the Security panel.
• If it isn't already check marked, check Remember passwords for sites.

You can easily manage the usernames and passwords that Firefox has saved for you.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options. Click the Security panel. Click Saved Passwords... and the Password Manager will open. To see the passwords you have saved, click Show Passwords. When you close the window, your passwords will be automatically hidden. If there is no password shown here, it may be possible that the database is deleted in the process of downgrade.
