I cannot youtube or facebook chat (thats just a few I think) without Internet Explorer 8. I downloaded it but when I tried to run it it says it cannot or something like that then says go to terminate to get rid of it. This also happens with google chrome and ROBLOX, an MMORPG. Its kind of an old computer the current operating system is windows XP and right now we have Internet Explorer 6

It would have been helpful if you would have provided the full error message. IE8 supports many advance features that may be required by current WebPages and this could be one reason you are experiencing error. Please try to run a Windows update as well as try to use another browser to see if it helps. You will also need to update flash player and java versions for smooth error free operation.
