I love to video chat, but ever since I upgraded Windows Vista to Windows 7, the webcam icon is no longer displayed by the system. I don’t know why this is happening.?

Yesterday I installed Windows Live Essentials on my Windows Vista-based computer. Now on connecting my digi cam to the computer there is a problem that I am facing. The options that used to come in the import pictures and videos dialog box are not coming. How to fix this issue??
