I called computer tech support and they said my BIOS needs upgrade and they were asking to pay some amount , I refused to pay them because I don’t have enough money can you tell me how to upgrade BIOS of my computer?

Updating the BIOS is very easy and interesting!. You did not mention the system model but I will provide you the generic steps:

• Identify your current BIOS version
• Check your PC/motherboard manufacturer's Website for BIOS updates
• Read the included documentation

Most newer PCs have a fairly easy BIOS update procedure: Just download the .exe file from your PC manufacturer's Website, quit all open programs, run the .exe, and let it handle the patch; then reboot. If your PC suddenly shuts down in the middle of the BIOS update, you won't be able to boot up, so make sure you're not running off a laptop battery.

I have about 1.25 gigs of ram and my computer is only using about 15 percent of it. i noticed this only happened after using a program called Advanced Systemcare, I did create a restore point and used it after I noticed the problems and it did not help. I am using windows 7 32 bit and I can't copy any types of files to my mini SD, but can copy files from mini SD to computer. I get a error message saying "Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". The mini SD is working fine.

This has been going on and off. When it did work the other day, the screen went blank then really fuzzy so I had to restart. It seems like a hardrive, video card problem. If thats the case, then doesnt it mean I lose everything?

I upgraded to windows 7 x64bit and now the DVDrom drive shows up but is not reading the discs, it rather asks me to insert disc and opens the drive, i already have a disk in there.

On trying to connect a printer to a network, error "Windows can't open Add Printer. Access is denied" is shown. The printer was working fine with my Windows 7-based computer. Does anyone have any idea why this error is occurring?

On Win XP there is a floating note on monitor that is telling me to set the monitors resolution. I do so in safe mode but the 'signal" reappears after a bit. I installed a video card but have not yet installed its drivers. The monitor works fine and then appears It seems like when the computer (and.or monitor) warms up the floating sign appears again.video problem or monitor problem or ? I'm afraid I can hear myself as I type that it be the monitor (ugh)

I have a photocopier Ricoh Aficio 1013F . I can see it has Network port RJ 45. I have 5 computer I would like to install the photocopier in my computer for printing purpus. I am trying to find out how to get the IP address of the photocopier. I can't get it.
