These troubleshooting steps may help:

1. Please download and install the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger 10.
2. Next, update the versions of Microsoft DirectX, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Windows on your computer.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the software for your webcam device.
o On your keyboard, press Windows Logo+R to open the Run command.
o Type in appwiz.cpl and click OK. This opens "Programs and Features."
o Select the webcam software or driver from the list.
o Click Uninstall.
o Unplug the webcam's USB cord from the computer.
o Restart your computer.
o Visit the webcam manufacturer's website to download and install the latest software or driver.
4. Check your webcam's compatibility.
