I have a Seagate 1TB external hard disk & I have been using it for 4 months with my laptop, but after my desktop came from repair, the person who repaired it put bulldog antivirus on it.When i connected my harddisk to my pc, Bulldog blocked it from opening.Now when I connected it back to my laptop, it won't recognize a as a harddisk as it used to before , instead it says "Removable Disk D" & when i try to access it dosnt opn...it says "Please enter a Disk in Removable Disk D"....pleeeeease help...wat shod i do...???i hav lots of things on the hard disk wich i dnt wnt 2 loose....

I understand how awful it is when you realize your backup may be inaccessible! Don’t worry, we will together try some steps here and try to get your external drive working

(a) Disable Bullguard for the time being and try to connect the external drive and see if it works.
(b) Start the system in safe mode by pressing F8 key at system startup. Once in the desktop screen, connect the disk to see if it gets recognized.
(c) Make sure the USB connectors are properly fit and the LED lights up in the drive.
(d) Try this disk in another system.
(e) Check if other USB devices work in your system.
