You can easily do what you have mentioned here but you have not mentioned if you have a scanner and if yes, what’s the model number. If you have a scanner that supports OCR and the relevant software is installed, you can scan the document to a Word application and hence it will just become like a normal editable file. Optical character recognition, usually abbreviated to OCR, is the mechanical or electronic translation of scanned images of handwritten, typewritten or printed text into machine-encoded text.
So please check your scanner software and documentation, if it mentions it has OCR, you can scan the document and output the document to a Word file and then edit it.
