If the Laptop screen keeps on flickering then please follow these steps.

o Update the display drivers.
o Check the screen refresh rate
o Check if there is any loose connection in the LCD. (If you are not comfortable with this then take help of some local technician)

I have a geography essay which has to be in on Wednesday and whilst I was in school today, I finished my essay in my spare time where I stuck my USB pen drive into the schools hard drive and it worked absolutely fine. I come home, I stick the pen into my own laptop and my laptop just doesn't recognise it at all. I have also tried it on my sister's apple mac and my dad's computer downstairs. Can anyone help?
