To change your screen resolution
1. Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
2. Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
3. Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.

My problem is that occasionally, my laptop’s touchpad won’t work on startup. It seems to happen every other time it is started. I can plug a USB mouse at any time and it will work just fine.If I look into the device manager when the touchpad is unresponsive, it will say that the PS/2 mouse failed to start.I've updated it to the most recent driver as found here:http://www.synaptics.com/support/driversBut this problem still persists. Any ideas how I can figure out what's wrong?

I recently got a laptop with windows 7. I bought a Microsoft web-cam. I realized that the mic in the web-cam was better than the built-in mic my laptop had. So I went to control panel/sound and I disabled the built-in microphone and left only the web-cam microphone enabled. When I went back to Audacity it showed a message that said "Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate". Did i do something wrong? How do I make my built-in mic go back to normal?

I have installed software for HP Photosmart C410A printer on my computer. For some days I am able to use the printer, but time and again the software just disappears. I have to again load the installation CD for the printer. Can anyone suggest a fix for this?
