The driver must be available for successful installation of the shared printer. You have not given the details of the printer else I would have provided specific help. Please identify the Printer manufacturer and visit their website and download the drivers. Once done, while installation , please provide the location of the drivers so that it can be installed successfully.

i have a HP photosmart C4480 printer and my disk wont install so i downloaded the drivers & software for the printer from the HP website which i have done before, this time for some reason the printer will not stay connected to the laptop and it just will not print. i reset my laptop about 2 wks ago & now im having the issues, prior to the reset i did the same thing and it worked fine.
