Which version of Windows are you using? Please check if there is any power management feature in your audio card properties that’s enabled and may be causing the issue. My first line of advise will be to install the latest compatible drivers. The same can be downloaded from the manufacturer website. First uninstall the older software. Once installed, run a Windows update. Also check your general power management settings and reset the BIOS to defaults.
